I have been practising physiotherapy since 1999 in both long-term-care and in outpatient clinics. I originally trained as a clinical Psychologist, however, during my placement I stumbled upon Physiotherapy and found the whole experience totally rewarding, so much so that I retrained as a Physiotherapist. General Physiotherapy is what I practice, but also I have a keen interest in Geriatric Physiotherapy. My occupation takes me now to many long-term care homes across Ontario, where I take care of elderly residents by supporting them with assistive devices, pain management, post-operative rehabilitation, and wellness exercise therapy on a daily basis. The doctor was very attentive to my problem, prescribed several different procedures that helped restore the mobility of the fingers. The staff is very attentive and punctual.
